My clinical work is rooted in a client-centered approach, which emphasizes a warm, non-judgemental, and trusting relationship as the foundation for healing. I believe each person--whether child, teen, or adult--has an innate capacity for growth and resilience. My role is to offer a safe, supportive space where you and/or your child feel deeply seen, heard, and accepted.Â
In my work with children, I use Child Centered Play Therapy, allowing children to process emotions and direct themselves to constructive outcomes though play, beyonds the limits of language. For teens, I create a space that respects their emerging autonomy while offering guidance grounded in empathy and authenticity.
When appropriate, I also integrate Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), to support processing of trauma and distressing experiences. When using this modality I will guide you to target specific traumas or distressing memories, then utilize bilateral stimulation to support you in accessing stored/fragmented memories that initiate inner healing.
